We have a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Project Manager or Change Lead who is accustomed to supporting HR projects. Reporting into the Group HR Director and supporting the HR Leadership Team, you will scope and shape a variety of change, deemed critical to the delivery of our people agenda.

This is a hands on role so a ‘roll sleeves up’, proactive approach is essential. Such tasks could include, but are not limited to, pay review, HR system changes, wellbeing, diversity & inclusion and operational performance across HR.

This role could suit a proactive and ambitious Junior Project Manager looking to progress and broaden their skills, you should have exceptional stakeholder management skills and ideally, an interest in Human Resources. A project management qualification is advantageous, but not essential, the ability to clearly evidence change management experience is of more importance for this position.


The Role

Your remit will include the following;

  • Lead and support the delivery of multiple project activities, identifying risks, mitigations and opportunities to improve performance.
  • Work with the HR Leadership Team to ensure the delivery of key project milestones on time and within budget and resource plans. 
  • Manage meetings and project performance reporting for the HR Leadership team.
  • Track and monitor progress and escalate business risks where appropriate. 
  • Communicate regularly and widely to stakeholders across HR and business as appropriate

Required skills and experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role, in particular PMO disciplines and project management methodology and reporting.
  • Customer focused and goal orientated with keen attention to detail. 
  • Strong analysis and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. 
  • A self-starter, able to work with initiative and unsupervised.
  • An interest in the work of HR and organisational development.
  • An understanding of a matrix approach in a fast paced and dynamic environment.


Education & qualifications

  • Preferably educated to degree level.
  • Preferably holding a Project Management or similar qualification.
