We have a well-established change framework and much of our delivery is agile. We continue to work to make ourselves better and quicker all the time, with regular monthly releases for our back-end systems and digital or front-end releases happening frequently and in the flow of business.

I joined Hastings in June 2022 after my completion of a Data Engineering bootcamp organised by Generation UK. As a new joiner to the field and to the company, I am very grateful for the trust and continuous support given by my colleagues.
My day typically starts with going through emails and understanding the data environment status. It's then followed by a team scrum where we provide an update on our tasks and seek support from others if needed. The rest of the day will be a combination of problem-solving, meeting with different stakeholders, learning new skills and so on.
I would definitely recommend Hastings to anyone who's looking for a supportive working environment. The fact that the leaders put in a lot of effort for Hastings to really live the 4Cs culture is a huge inspiration too.
