Meet some of the team

Daniel, Digital Analytics and Insight Manager

My role involves analysing performance data from our suite of web analytics tools to understand commercial performance and monitor customer behaviour. It’s a mixture of very numerical work and being able to explain the message behind the numbers to others. I love the sheer breadth and pace - we deal with millions of motor insurance quotes a year, so you can make a significant difference. Although our work is time pressured and critical, we try to balance that out with social tasks. For example, last year we did the ‘Pier-to-Pier’ challenge, walking 16 miles from Eastbourne to Hastings to raise funds for a local charity.

David, Experience Design Manager

I joined Hastings Direct because I was looking for a company that offered strong career development, coupled with a great ethos and in an ideal location for me. I knew Hastings Direct as a business was developing at a rapid pace and wanted to be a part of their journey. After nearly nine years, I haven’t looked back and am still developing my skills having worked on some exciting and challenging projects. My role currently offers the perfect balance of creativity and technical thinking to keep me motivated. I’m lucky to have worked with some great people here and am able to learn from them. The atmosphere is professional and focused but you can also have fun.
