As a team, we work across a range of cloud-based platforms in multiple languages (R, SQL, Python) and we’re always looking to broaden and tap into the wide range of talent we have in house. All colleagues are provided with a Microsoft surface laptop and the essential equipment to make working at home as comfortable and productive as possible.
We know that flexibility is crucial to our colleagues but also that being in the office has its advantages too! Hybrid working is based on colleagues working one day a week in any of our offices (with the option to be office-based full-time if desired). We also recognise that our colleagues have commitments so we are open to discussing how we can adjust your working pattern to suit your needs.

I joined Hastings Direct in the Risk Pricing team as a graduate with no industry experience and was immediately made to feel like part of the team and had all the support I needed. The role is excellent for seeing how your own personal analysis can directly affect the business in helping to achieve our company wide goals. Problem solving is a vital skill used every day in this role and innovative ways of thinking are always encouraged to create an effective solution to a given task. When I joined Hastings Direct after almost 10 years in the industry, what struck me immediately was how important personal development is here.
